Product Description
Colorfull Translucent Stain is a water based co-polymer which forms an extremely hard and durable surface for color staining properly prepared concrete. This water based stain penetrates for long lasting color and is more versatile and much easier to use than an acid stain. Translucent Stains are a great way to bring color to old concrete and add beauty to new concrete.
Use
Colorfull Translucent Stain will not hide the sand or aggregate exposure. It is designed to be used on properly etched new or old concrete. These stains have the look of acid stain but with a much wider variety of colors and none of the solvents or other caustic ingredients associated with acid stains. It will not peel or chip like paint. If a more solid looking stain is desired try our Colorfull "Opaque" Stain.
Limitations
Surface must be dry, clean and free of lime or efflorescence. Allow the concrete to cure for 28 days before staining. This allows the initial moisture in new concrete to escape. Do not apply stain if rain is expected within 48 hours. Water can fade the color and prevent drying. Do not apply stain when temperature is below 45° F or above 90º F.
Coverage
Colorfull Translucent Stain is available in 1 gallon and 5 gallon containers. Each gallon will cover approximately 250 square feet depending upon the etch of the surface.
Caution
Keep out of reach of children. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. Use only in a well ventilated area. A painter's mask should be worn. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Wear neoprene gloves and aprons to protect skin and safety goggles for eyes. See MSDS for further instructions. Wash hands prior to eating or smoking. Wash clothes after use of product.

This product is intended for use only by licensed contractors, experienced and trained in the use of this material. Since no control of its selection or application is made no guarantee is expressed or implied regarding its use. Admixture's only liability shall be the replacement of any product proven to be defective.
