Colorfull Integral and Mortar Color
Product Description
Colorfull powdered concrete color is a preblended mixture of pigments for integrally coloring structural and non-structural concrete, precast concrete, mortar, grout or plaster. Available in earth tone colors to match your surroundings or bright colors that really stand out. Used with recommended dosage rates (10% maximum) they won't harm strength or durability. Pigments are lime-proof, non-fading, pure synthetic mineral oxides. The synthetic mineral oxide pigments meet or exceed the requirements of ASTM D768-47, ASTM D769-49 and ASTM C979-82 - Standard Specifications for Pigments for Integrally Colored Concrete.
Use
Colorfull integral and mortar colors are formulated to be used at various dosage rates and can be packaged in virtually any size package to meet your individual batching requirements. Packaging to your specifications helps to insure uniformity from batch to batch. Use cement and sand from the same source for the entire project to further insure uniformity as cement color and fineness of grind contribute to the resulting concrete appearance. Do not use color with calcium chloride accelerators as dark spots may occur that will not lighten.
Limitations
Carbon Black (PB-44) is not recommended for use with concrete that has been air-entrained. PB-44 is a concentrated carbon black which yields higher tint strength. It is an economical alternative to iron oxide black where the concrete has not been air-entrained and is protected from repeating wetting and drying.
Coverage
Under each color swatch on the color chart you will find a product number and dosage rate. This dosage rate is the amount of color needed to tint 94 pounds of cement. Typical dosage rates range from ½# to 4# of Colorfull color per 94 pounds of cement. Cement content includes cement, fly ash, silica fume and other cementitious materials but not sand or aggregate. Exceeding 10% color content can have an adverse affect on the strength of the concrete. If a more vibrant color is desired consider using Colorfull Color Hardener which due to its application is not limited to these same restrictions and in fact can increase cement strength.
Caution
Keep out of reach of children. Do not take internally. Avoid inhalation and contact with skin or eyes. Wear rubber gloves and aprons to protect skin and safety goggles for eyes. See MSDS for further instructions. Wash hands prior to eating or smoking. Wash clothes after use of product.

Since no control of its selection or application is made no guarantee is expressed or implied regarding its use. Admixture's only liability shall be the replacement of any product proven to be defective.
